Spatial Analysis
The City of Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH) Division of Chronic Disease & Injury Prevention (CDIP) was 1) collecting service, contact, and geography data on existing gun violence prevention programs that currently serve the City of Philadelphia using a Survey123 form and 2) using these data to build a web mapping application so that the public and service providers can locate existing resources and connect people in need.
The embedded ArcGIS Notebook is designed to pull in responses from the Survey123 form, clean the feature, create a separate point feature representing geocoded program headquarters, and update polygon geometries based on selected geographic units (zip codes, Philadelphia Police District (PPD) boundaries, and self-drawn boundaries) representing program service area boundaries.
2 layers are created and cleaned to be exported to ArcGIS Online (AGO) for use.
